It also investigates how EU digital rules travel internationally and shape regulation in third countries.

PEER – The Political Economy of Estonia’s e-Residency
This project examined the commercialisation of state-issued residency-related rights through digital technologies. It investigated how the e-Residency programme developed, how it was promoted internationally, and what it reveals about changing relationships among states, digital infrastructures, private service providers, and globally mobile entrepreneurs.
